Mart Stam Society

The Mart Stam Society, the Berlin Weissensee School of Art's Friends and Patrons Association, was founded in late 1994, and since 1997 the Society has awarded the Mart Stam Prize as part of a yearly competition to honour the best degree works in each discipline at the School. The Society supports and promotes the School in many ways and organises events that go beyond the normal teaching activities of the School, including, for example, the current series of events called "Zukunftswerkstatt".
