Polly - Behandlung von Harninkontinenz | Amy Graves, Gesa Hansen

Polly ist ein Service, bei dem Frauen per App ihre Harninkontinenz tracken und diagnostizieren können. Harninkontinenz ist die häufigste chronische Krankheit unter Frauen in Deutschland, rund ein Viertel sind betroffen.

Polly soll betroffene Frauen durch den Alltag begleiten und vor allem auch Informationen rund um das Thema Inkontinenz bieten. Mit der Polly App können Patientinnen durch ein intuitives Interface ein Miktionsprotokoll (Flüssigkeitstagebuch) führen, dass durch die App ausgewertet werden kann. Mit dieser Erkenntnisgewinnung wird der Patientin nun entsprechende Behandlungen und disktrete Hilfsmittel in Form von Inkontinenz Pads angeboten.

 

Polly is a service that allows women to track and diagnose their urinary incontinence via app. Urinary incontinence is the most common chronic disease among women in Germany, affecting around a quarter.

Polly is designed to accompany affected women through everyday life and, above all, to provide information on the subject of incontinence. With the Polly app, patients can use an intuitive interface to keep a micturition log (fluid diary) that can be evaluated by the app. With this knowledge, the patient is now offered appropriate treatments and discrete aids in the form of incontinence pads.
