Sommersemester 2017, Fine Arts / Sculpture Ausstellungen
In English, being on the edge, or being edgy, usually refers to being nervous, aware of imminent danger, as in standing on the edge of a cliff, or on the edge of disaster. Edge.Piraeus is a symposium and a presentation of artistic positions: How do structures of society affect its citizens? The least evil and / or the death of democracy? As most commentators are talking about Athens as one of the earliest metropolis with the affinity of a sovereignty of the people, which accepts the public discourse as a chance to debate about anything and especially about the crisis as well as about new solutions, so the project Edge.Piraeus intends to contribute diverse public interventions and - vice versa - secret experiments and experiences.
