Lecture Nov. 23 (online): The Bark Project - Research for Biogenic Materials in Design

On November 23rd Johanna Hehemeyer-Cürten and Charlett Wenig will give a lecture on "The Bark Project - Research for Biogenic Materials in Design".

The Bark Project focuses on practical research based on material-focused analysis using scientific and design methods with the aim to development sustainable design concepts with bark as the basic raw material.

Our research on the physical and chemical characteristics of bark and the resulting development of new concepts for biomaterials that could be important for future design scenarios is made possible by the Max-Planck-Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPI-CI).
