NOX – Spatial Notes

Wie können wir im ständigen Datenfluss die wichtigsten Informationen im Auge behalten und gleichzeitig die Ablenkung durch Smartphones reduzieren? Das Designkonzept NOX ist ein flexibler, papierähnlicher, vernetzter Assistent für Push-Benachrichtigungen. In seiner reduzierten Form zeigt es allein nur die wesentlichen Informationen an – zur richtigen Zeit, am richtigen Ort. Ähnlich einem Papierzettel ist der neuartige „Sticker“ flexibel und basiert auf E-Ink-Technologie in verschiedenen Schichten. Mithilfe von Nano-Klebeband wird er einfach an der Wand befestigt und über Bluetooth mit dem Smartphone verbunden.

 

With a constant flow of data, how can we keep track of the most important information while reducing smartphone distractions? The NOX design concept is a flexible, paper-like and connected assistant for push notifications. In its reduced form, it displays only the essential information – at the right time, at the right location. Similar to a paper note, the novel „sticker“ is flexible and based on e-ink technology consisting of different layers. With the help of nano-adhesive tape, it is simply attached to the wall and connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth.
