TactKit

TactKit ist ein Toolkit zur Entwicklung von taktilem Feedback für Wearable-Geräte. Es beinhaltet Hardware-Modelle und Code zur Modulation taktiler Muster. Unser Tastsinn ist außergewöhnlich und multimodal. TactKit geht über Vibrationen hinaus und lässt sich von taktilen Gesten zwischen Menschen inspirieren, um eine breitere Palette taktiler Feedback-Muster in Wearables zu integrieren. TactKit bietet auch eine Community-Plattform, auf der Benutzer 3D-Hardware-Modelle herunterladen und voreingestellte Muster testen, sowie ihre eigenen Muster entwerfen, testen und neue Ideen beitragen können.

 

TactKit is a toolkit designed for prototyping tactile feedback for wearable devices. It includes both hardware models and code for modulating tactile patterns. Our sense of touch is extraordinary and multi modal, and TactKit goes beyond vibrations by drawing inspiration from touch gestures between people, bringing a wider range of tactile feedback patterns into wearable devices. TactKit also provides a community platform where users can download 3D models and test pre-set patterns. With this toolkit, users can design and test tactile feedback for their projects or explore new tactile feedback options and contribute new ideas to the community.
