Guest auditor

Guest auditor

Interested persons, who want to deepen their professional artistic skills or who want to deepen their studies and fullfil all the required qualification for the course attendance, can make an application for a guest auditor.

Please note, that in the most Fine Arts or Design study programs and departments guest auditors can't be accepted. This applies in particular to those candidates who wish to use the guest auditorship to prepare their applications as first year students in our undergraduate programs.

Further no guest auditors can be admitted to lectures or courses with strict limit of participants.

Usually, there is no problem to participate in theoretical courses.

Depending on the availability of free places, the Professor or teacher or head of the workshop decides on the possibility of participation.

The application has to be submitted at the begin of the lecture period of each semester.

A relevant knowledge, based on a appropriate level of education is essential in order to handle the content. The level of education can be approved by artistic works during a consultation with the professor of the course or workshop or lecture you wish to participate. After a personal interview, professors of the department will decide on the approval.

„Gasthörer_innenschaft“/ Guest auditor means: you are not a student or member of the school and you only can follow the course you have been accepted for. An admission is only for one semester and it should not exceed 10 hours per week. Guest auditors have no right to take examinations.

Please get informed about the copurse offers and lecutres on our website prior to get in contact with the departments. In order to obtain the approval, a previous personal meeting is essentially required. For more details, especially regarding to the course content, see schedule of lectures on our website.
